Car pulling out
I don't usually talk when I post photos, but I think this turned out pretty cool. Check out the back of the bus in the third picture. The rear headlight looks like its shooting out some old school lazer beams.

Nike Air Inventor Frank Rudy Passes Away
If you're a sneaker head, or wear shoes in general, then you've probably owned something by Frank Rudy. After abandoning his military x aerospace engineering background, Rudy began designing things like sneakers. In 1977 when Phil Knight (Nike founder) wanted to create a shoe with air in it, he knew the man to call him. The rest, is history...
Dying with over 250 patents to his name, Frank Rudy has made an impression on fashion that will last forever. Nike CEO Mark Parker reflects that “Frank Rudy holds a singular place in the pantheon of Nike innovation” and that “his relentless creativity and focus on solving problems was, in many ways, the template for how Nike pursues performance to this very day.”
Rudy was 84, and passed away in his California home. Frank Rudy will not be forgotten as Nike prepares to launch the “Fresh Air” campaign in 2010.

These things I have destroyed...
After two years of almost constant wear, I can guarantee these are some of my favourite shoes I ever owned. Although, I haven't been the best to them and yesterday I picked up a new pair...which means its time to retire these.

Christmas.
I realize I'm a few days late but its been a hectic few days. No matter whats been going on, Christmas always seems to always bring people together. It'd been a while since I saw my brother and seeing him was one of the things on my list. Being away at university really cuts down on that. He's so energetic, it was surprising that we were up by 9. He's insane, my brother. He's one of the funniest kids I know, and he reminds me of me when I was younger. Apparently I was a bit more out of my mind, but he's still got a few years to catch up i guess.
Although its been a rough year for everyone, Dad always seems to pull through and make Christmas unreal. Although I'm not going to start listing off what I grabbed, theres some Gucci, some stuff for my Mac, some camera stuff and a whole lot more. Needless to say, I had a good year.

Good Morning
Apparently Ron Isley simply singing "yeaah" and "well well well" makes a song amazing. I don't know why, but every time I hear that Isley sample, it makes a song like ten times more chill. This song is a current favourite of mine, and in my opinion has some of the best Nas verses of all time.

Supreme Book
In 1994, Supreme opened its doors in downtown Manhattan and became the home of New York City skate culture. The brand has stayed true to its underground roots while collaborating with groundbreaking artists and designers, and with stores in Los Angeles and Japan, it has become an icon of independent counter-cultural style. Challenging the established West Coast skater scene and the new conservatism of 1990s New York, Supreme defined the aesthetic of an era of rebellious cool that reached from skaters to fashionistas and from post-punks to hip-hop heads. Producing clothes, skateboards, and accessories in definitively limited editions, Supreme has earned a reputation for quality streetwear with a unique attitude. From legendary advertising campaigns to especially commissioned skateboard designs and an unprecedented and comprehensive index of their clothing to date—and including collaborations with Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Takashi Murakami, Ryan McGinness, Public Enemy, Peter Saville, Marilyn Minter, Timberland, and Futura 2000, among many others—this richly illustrated book is a survey of fifteen years of contemporary street fashion and culture reflected in the pioneering work of one of New York’s most influential independent labels.

Street Etiquette X TONE - Genesis Of Style | Teaser Video
Its always very impressive to see what my friend Josh Kissi and his parter Travis are up to, and how they're taking their website to the next level. This time, they've teamed up with TONE to create a video on the meaning of "style".
To dwell and explore Street Etiquette a little more thoroughly, we had posted an interview done by videographer, TONE , a while ago, with the Bronx duo, This time around, both parties came back together to explain and delve deeper into the definition of “style”. For the duo, style is not a singular concept but one that is organic, variegated and also embodies characteristics beyond the physical attributes. The project, “Genesis Of Style” is a multi-borough project narrating a “revival of awareness of personal style”, where Kissi and Gumbs sought out some of their closest friends whom they believe are the embodiment of style. Check out the teaser video and learn a little more about the project on Street Etiquette, then kick back and spend the rest of December awaiting the full video due to release in January 2010. via: Street Etiquette

Y-3 2010 Spring/Summer Collection Preview
As one of the most exemplary approaches to sportswear and fashion, past Y-3 collections have revolved largely around monochromatic colors with much of the design focus coming courtesy of profiles and silhouettes. In a look at the 2010 spring/summer collection, Y-3 takes on a stronger theme with a floral pattern. The always popular footwear line sees five different models including two sandal forms while apparel includes a jacket and a hoodie.
