The Large Recession by Leon Reid IV

I've gotten really into large-scale urban design lately, and this is one of my favorite finds. ‘The Great Recession’ is a large scale installation by Leon Reid IV, planted on the SRBank building in Stavanger, Norway. Reid says that this work is symbolic of the anxiety and trouble caused by the global financial crisis. As you can see, the piece is huge, and is part of Stavanger’s street art festival, called Nuart. For Nuart, Stavanger has offered itself to international street artists, allowing them to display their work for the month of September.
