"Legendary skate pro and artist Mark Gonzales will have his artwork exhibited this Friday July 10th, at the Half Gallery in New York City. The show, entitled South West, looks to feature new works from the San Francisco-native, curated by Emma Reeves and running until August 2nd, 2009. An opening reception is scheduled for July 9th from 6-8pm."

Personally, if I had to rank my top 5 favorite celebrities, Gonz would be right up there. The man has worked with every company and is one of the strangest dudes ever. He's also incredibly interesting. He first sparked my interest when he did the multicolor priests for Maharishi, as well as some shirts.



But after he did these I got into his history and realized he's worked and dealth with everyone from Maharishi to Adidas to Supreme to Krooked and every piece he's done has been a knockout. Needless to say, NY heads I'm really jealous of you guys if you go to the show.
