Wu-Tang legend Raekwon’s seminal album Only Built For Cuban Links not only catapulted the MC to the top of the Hip Hop world, it also laid out a format for vivid bone chilling mafioso tales of extortion, drug sales and brutal violence over eerie soul beats. The reverberations are still being felt and the style is still being used to this day. Therefore, there was more then a little commotion when it was announced that the Staten Island MC would release a sequel to the classic. However, after many false starts, label changes and disappointments it appeared that the album would never see the light of day. Now there seems to be hope. Rae debuts a new video and track entitled “New Wu” featuring frequent partner in crime Ghostface and Wu veteran Meth. Rae’s lazy half mumbled flow punctuated with drug references is still present in all it’s glory. The track is also a perfect canvas for the MCs to spit over.

You know what it is.
