Next Car?

With a few different automotive makers taking a pass on the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, the Mercedes Benz and McLaren partnership has offered a bright spot as they look to present their SLR Stirling Moss, the last car to be produced under the MB/McLaren union.

A first glance at the car’s exterior features an innovative long-reaching frame with a special windshield-less experience for an unsurpassed road experience.

With a legendary racing pedigree, the SLR also pays homage to British race car driver Stirling Moss, who’s still the current record holder for the Mille Miglia. On a performance side of things, the SLR Stirling Moss will make the sprint of 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 217 mph despite the seemingly unaerodynamic cockpit.
