So recently I've gotten into running. Its probably a good thing haha. I've found that the more I focus on music and stuff, the more I can zone out from what I'm actually doing and just enjoy the music. With that said, my favourite discovery is a mix that A-Trak did for Nike.

The 43 minute mix is called "Running Man" and its basically a long, super smooth, super positive blend of tunes, put together by Mr. A-Trak himself. The tune starts gradually building from a warm-up period, incorporating an extended middle section that finds a pavement-pounding groove, and ending with a downtempo closure for cooling down. The funny thing is that, the first "Say Whoa" section is actually a sample from his album Infinity +1, and later features a verse from KiD CUDi. According to A-Trak, this is because he wanted to showcase his new electric style, without straying too far from his Hip-Hop roots.

All in all, its a great mix and the cover art is pretty cool. For any of you runners out there, I'd give it a try.

Well, I knew it would happen. First 3D movies, and now 3D TV. This is amazing, and I'm really excited. Basically, it all begins with Sony offering 3D Tv's this summer, and right in time for the World Cup, ESPN will launch ESPN3D. ESPN promises to show at least 85 live events on this new channel, which may come at an added cost for viewers. If you are no stranger to 3D movies, you will understand how seeing Beckham bend it in all glories of height, width and depth is a life changing experience.

Based out of LA, Alex Prager has always managed to keep my attention through her photography. This show, is just another reason why I wish I lived in NYC.

I've realized recently that Wings + Horns is definitely one of my favourite clothing companies right now. I don't know what it is about them specifically, but I just seem to like what they're doing. Although recently they split into Wings + Horns Archive, and Wings + Horns Research, I'm just going to post their offerings into one post.

As always, the garments are simple, but of the highest quality. This seems to be a trend out of the Vancouver production company, seeing as Reigning Champ seems to follow the same style of simple but well put together.

Recently, XXL put out their list of the best "freshman" to hiphop of 2009, complete with a writeup and grades. Drake, Wiz Khalifa, J.Cole, Asher Roth, B.O.B, KiD CUDi are among those on the list. Truly, these guys are the future of hip hop. I'm at a point where I'm really starting to have faith in HipHop again, since the arrival of people like Wiz, Drizzy, WALE and CUDi. I guess only time will tell how the future unfolds for these Freshman. Until then, lets see how they did on the report card.

VH1 recently put out a DVD of Kanye Wests performances. The 70 minute dvd features over 10 ten songs, plus a lengthy Q&A period with Mr. West himself. I bootlegged the DVD a few hours ago and gave it a watch, its pretty cool. Say what you will about Mr. West, but the man always has something to say. At the end, maybe I'll throw them into a NAICE colored book or something. Who knows. We'll see where it goes. Apart from the actual Vampire Weekend album that comes out in a few days, I think I've found my 2010 equivalent for the Vampire Weekend album. I listened to it non-stop last year, and so far, this is having the same effect.

I don't know what I like so much about this album, but so far this obscure Norwegian girl has captured my interest in a big way.

Have you ever seen a building in motion that actually changes its shape? Sounds unbelievable but not to Dr. David Fisher. This building will never appear exactly the same twice.

It is amazing but you will have the choice of waking up to sunrise in your bedroom and enjoying sunsets over the ocean at dinner.

In addition to being such an incredible engineering miracle it will produce energy for itself and even for other buildings because it will have wind turbines fitted between each rotating floor (picture 2). So an 80-story building will have up to 79 wind turbines, making it a true green power plant.

Nike Air Inventor Frank Rudy Passes Away

If you're a sneaker head, or wear shoes in general, then you've probably owned something by Frank Rudy. After abandoning his military x aerospace engineering background, Rudy began designing things like sneakers. In 1977 when Phil Knight (Nike founder) wanted to create a shoe with air in it, he knew the man to call him. The rest, is history...

Dying with over 250 patents to his name, Frank Rudy has made an impression on fashion that will last forever. Nike CEO Mark Parker reflects that “Frank Rudy holds a singular place in the pantheon of Nike innovation” and that “his relentless creativity and focus on solving problems was, in many ways, the template for how Nike pursues performance to this very day.”

Rudy was 84, and passed away in his California home. Frank Rudy will not be forgotten as Nike prepares to launch the “Fresh Air” campaign in 2010.

Although I can't see myself owning one, I find the candle that visvim made with the help of French perfumier Blaise Mautin very cool. Combining elements of Kyoto temples with an infusion of French scents, the candle includes distinctive notes of sandalwood. I realize I'm a few days late but its been a hectic few days. No matter whats been going on, Christmas always seems to always bring people together. It'd been a while since I saw my brother and seeing him was one of the things on my list. Being away at university really cuts down on that. He's so energetic, it was surprising that we were up by 9. He's insane, my brother. He's one of the funniest kids I know, and he reminds me of me when I was younger. Apparently I was a bit more out of my mind, but he's still got a few years to catch up i guess.

Although its been a rough year for everyone, Dad always seems to pull through and make Christmas unreal. Although I'm not going to start listing off what I grabbed, theres some Gucci, some stuff for my Mac, some camera stuff and a whole lot more. Needless to say, I had a good year.

Its always very impressive to see what my friend Josh Kissi and his parter Travis are up to, and how they're taking their website to the next level. This time, they've teamed up with TONE to create a video on the meaning of "style".

Its very rare where I'll post the same song over and over, just to make sure that everyone knows of it. Its even more rare when I spend almost two months trying to find an album online, I can usually find even the most obscure albums in ten minutes, tops a day. It becomes outrageous when I have to log onto my MySpace account from like grade 8 just to message the artist to find out where the hell I can find his album, and I get the response "download it illegally or something" hahahahah.

Nevertheless, all of these are true of Mr. Jonathan Boulet. The 20 year old Australian lad that had Kanye screaming "PLEASE WATCH THIS ITS FUCKING AMAZING" on his blog. Listening to Kanye, I did, and haven't stopped listening since. I think that the video for it is amazing, both from an art standpoint and simply from all the different instruments and feels that he puts into the music. Listen to the song a few times, you'll realize what its about.

Its really rare that I actually give an artist a write up, usually I just post up an album and go "download this", trusting that if you like what I post, you'll like the music, or atleast try it.

This is different. I absolutely love this album. I only found it like 3 days ago (FINALLY) and ever since its been on repeat. I can already assume that its one of my favorite albums of all time. I don't really care if you don't like it, or if you're indifferent to it. I love this album so so so so much. If you like what I post on here, especially from a music aspect, then you need to try this. Also, check out the songs "Continue Calling" and "321 Ready Or Not" on the album.

This is their second location in Canada, the first being in Montreal where the brothers grew up. With the help of Neil, a music scene veteran and businessman here in Toronto, they finally had a chance to give the thriving Toronto MMA scene something to drool about. On opening night last weekend they had none other than Dan Henderson in attendance. Fans alike got to meet and chat with the former champ himself. A few weeks ago at Chapters I bought a bunch of books. Surprisingly, the book that I've been most interested in is the Banksy book, entitled Wall & Piece. The book is basically a compilation of some of his artwork over the years, with interesting commentary from Banksy himself. Anyways, I took some pictures of my favourite pieces.
